Nas & J Dilla - Dillmatic - Honestly, you'd figure at best this is pretty good, but these are two national treasures and the results, honestly, are magnificent.

Maybe these songs aren't always better than the originals, but they're almost always just as good. And the cover art's dope for that little extra cherry on top.

I love when Madlib remixes Nas tracks on his mixtapes and this is really no different, the only problem is Squeek Boogie made this instead of Dilla himself. But the rhymes are on beat and the beats match the tone of the lyrics, so I give this a very enthusiastic co-sign for people that don't mind hearing old songs sounding new again.
