Who Knows - Knows! - The ancient inhabitants of Egypt did not call their country "Egypt" (a name derived from the Greek Aigyptos). They called it Kemet (often written as km.t in hieroglyphs).
The name Kemet literally translates to "the Black Land," a reference to the rich, dark, and incredibly fertile soil that lined the banks of the Nile River. This Mug celabrates That Original History.
